Easily one of my favorite boxes of this design. The wood is perfect, and the joinery is just spot on. The solid maple lid is offset by a beautiful strip of Cocobolo and the monkey pod sides are such an unusual and rich wood addition. It sports a wooden hinge, an antique brass finish knob, and is hand rubbed hard wax oil finish.
